Featherboard Style Fencing

Is a popular solid fencing style. It is ideal for blocking wind and for privacy. Our featherboard fences are constructed using 6-inch wide timber boards. We overlap each board by 1-inch to give an end result of 5-inch visible vertical boards.

When used along flower borders etc. the cladding-boards are sat on a replaceable, treated, gravel board. This ensures that the fence panels do not come into contact with the ground.

We seal the top of the fence with a bevelled cap which runs parallel to the gravel board.

Because the boards are placed vertically, it is an extremely flexible fencing style that can be applied to uneven ground.
